Ingredients

2 cups chickpea flour
½ cup water
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon ground cardamom
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 tablespoon onion powder
Vegetable oil for frying



Directions

In a large frying pan, add 1 cup of oil over medium-high heat. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients until soft dough forms. Shape mixture into 10 evenly sized fritters. Fry on both sides until golden brown. Drain on a paper towel to remove excess oil. Serve with Kebbi African Green Hot Pepper Sauce.
